Where Plug-In Hybrid Conversions (mostly Priuses) Are

This is a mirror of the map at Google's RechargeIt site (including icons for YouTube videos on both PHEVs and EVs). See also Hymotion's map showing the location of its customers who have signed up (some of these are not included on our list). We estimate there are between 125-150 PHEVs worldwide at this time; we hope to get the rest of them on the list!

Below is a chronology of hybrid Toyota Priuses and Ford Escapes that have been converted. Unless otherwise noted, all are Prius. If you're interested in converting your Prius, see the information at How To Get a Plug-In Hybrid. At this moment, options for individuals are still limited.

Some of these vehicles may be available for demonstrations using the available contact info. Click on images of cars 1, 6-8, or 10-12 for high-resolution images (media may use with credit: CalCars.org). In addition, see the EAA-PHEV list, which sometimes gets ahead of this list.

At the bottom of this page, we've begun a list of PHEV Schoolbuses.
